MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – It would be the rain, wind, and wet conditions that would slow down the Coastal Carolina men's and women's track & field teams on Saturday, as several Chanticleers did not compete on the final day of the
Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational held at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
A total of only 18 Chants competed across both the men's and women's teams on Saturday.
The women's team placed third overall in the team standings with 87 points overall. Coastal finished behind only Duke (247 points) and James Madison (111.5).
The men's team finished in fourth place overall with 61 points behind Duke (100 points), Slippery Rock (78), and Mount St. Mary's (65).
Women's Team
Posting a top-five finish on Saturday in the high jump event was
Camryn Lorick and her leap of 1.64 meters, which placed her in third overall, while fellow Chant

In the 400-meter hurdles the Chants had two top-10 finishers with
